From the PTO Desk...

What an amazing UE night at the fall festival!  In the busy lives that we all live, it was nice to slow down and come together for a few hours and just enjoy catching up and watching all the kids run around and having fun!  We can't begin to thank ALL the volunteers we had. To those who were there beginning to end, to an hour or so...it made all the difference!  Teachers, thank you for spending your Friday evening with us and filling in where needed.  An extra special THANK YOU to Juan/Fruit & Veggie stand at Landhope Farms for the gorgeous mums, the Robinson family, PoMarLin Fire Company, the Yardly family, COE Orthodontics, Yo-Yo Balloons, Kona Ice, Katjas Empanada's, Barnard's Orchards and Highland Orchards.  We raised a little over $4000 in just those few short hours! The funds raised will be put to good use purchasing things to enhance the learning experience of our very own.  We will update you throughout the year, so you know exactly where these dollars are going.  THANK YOU!

"There's nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer."  James Doolittle

Direct Donation Program

So where is your money going?  What is it being used for?

In order to continue providing materials and services that the PTO provides to our students, we are asking for direct contributions to be made to the school from each family.  We are asking for all families, who are able, to be generous, and to contribute.  Our donation request is for $50 per child attending UE.  This is just a suggested amount.  More, of course, is welcome, and no amount is too little.  Our reason for asking for direct donations this year is in response to parent requests to not sell a variety of items throughout the school year, and frequently asking, “Can’t I just write a check?.”  So, yes, you can! 100% of your donation will go to our school, which is also in response to parental input.  Also, please be sure to ask your employers if they have a “match” program.  This is a great way to effortlessly raise more funds for our children’s education.

The 2017/18 year the PTO was able to approve supplies for our new Stem room, a creative space for not just learning but also creating. This was possible because of the direct donation along with many other items needed for the students.  Please see the link below for the donation form.

Stopping the Flu Starts with You!

School season is prime time for classes, homework, sports… and the flu. When: October 4, 2018 - 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The best way to prevent flu is by getting a flu vaccine each year.

WOW, such an amazing response to the start of the school year, we have raised over $3000; we absolutly can not thank you enough!

Dear Parents and Guardians of UCF Students,

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year. The continuing mission of the PTO is to make UCF a better place by promoting school spirit, supporting student activities, raising funds for the benefit of the school, and providing a forum for parents to discuss issues as needed. We encourage everyone to play an active role in the education and success of their child!

The Annual Directory is a service (and a UCF PTO tradition) we are pleased to offer that helps foster connections between families. This year’s directory will be bigger and better than ever.  To increase its usefulness (and maybe save a few trees) we will be providing a PDF version of the directory in addition to the printed version.

  • The PDF version is free and will be available in PowerSchool in the Parent Portal

  • Printed directories will still be available as in the past for a nominal fee of $8.00

To be listed in the directory provide your contact information online using this link
