Spring Book Fair is May 15th- May 17th.
Parents, The Spring Book Fair is here! It is scheduled for next week, Wed
May 15- Friday May 17. The theme is Story Laboratory, where "reading gives
you super power." Be on the look out for "mad scientists" aka the UE staff!
There will be a wide variety of books for all ages, from picture books to
chapter books to reference books. Get your summer reading materials now!
Wed, May 15 is BROWSE Day, and TH, May 17 and FRI, May 18 are BUY Days.
The Fair will be open during the K-3 Spring Concerts as well as the Open
House. Also, we are in need of volunteers for set-up, pack up and the Open

The UE Eco and Recycling Fair is Saturday, May 18th from 9am-2pm.
Enjoy a fun day of shopping with local eco-friendly vendors selling
everything from soaps, lotions and jewelry to art, organic dog treats and
succulent pies. Check out educational exhibits provided by area
organizations including the Brandywine Valley Association and Chester
County Solid Waste Authority. Bring your aluminum cans, small pieces of
furniture, cabinetry, used painted cans and old cellphones to support
Trash Talkin' Ladies, Habitat for Humanity, and Cell Phones for Soldiers.
There's something for everyone!

Faculty/Staff Appreciation Luncheon on May 30th, 2013. Please consider

Field Day - Wednesday, June 5, 2013 (Raindate - Thursday, June 6,2013)
Mrs. Hurley has worked very hard to make this a fun, outdoor play! Parents
and other family members are needed at stations to keep things running
smoothly and to cheer on the students. It is an enjoyable day for
everyone, so please send in the volunteer sheet that will be coming home
with your child.
9:15 - 11:30 AM : Kindergarten, 3rd and 4th grade
