needed to make these a success. There are many opportunities to volunteer
and any amount of time is greatly appreciated. This is a great way to have
fun, meet new people and interact with your children, their classmates and

Please be on the lookout for your summer mailing that will include
information on the 2013-2014 UEPTO BOOSTER DRIVE brochure.

Providing a place where students can learn, explore, thrive and feel like
they belong is a mission of the UEPTO, but it takes the participation of
every parent to be successful. We are looking for 100% participation in
our booster drive and are hopeful that each family will make a tax
deductible donation to support the academic, artistic and social programs
the UEPTO will sponsor this year. 100% of your donation will go directly
to support Unionville Elementary school programs and enrichment. Checks
should be made out to UEPTO and sent via mail/backpack express by 9/27/13
in an envelope marked "Booster Drive".

If you have any questions regarding the booster drive please contact
Jennifer Hall -

Recycle all your paper at the Unionville Post Office. Every pound of paper
that is retrieved from the 2 green and yellow recycling bins at Unionville
Post Office raises money for Unionville Elementary! All you have to do is
recycle - newspapers, magazines, junk mail, school papers, workbooks,
folders, office paper, paperback books. Please tell your friends and
neighbors too.
No cardboard or other recycling please - the bins are just for paper!
Unionville Elementary and the environment thank you!!!

Let's Get Cooking!
Dear Unionville Elementary School Families:
At long last, the highly anticipated "UE Cooks" Cookbook will be available
for purchase this fall. Recipes included come from current and past UE
families as well as our great UE staff.
Books will be on sale at the start of the school year. The price is $10
per book and checks can be made to UEPTO. An order form will be included
in an upcoming UE Listserve and we are hoping we will have them available
for purchase the nights of our fall Open Houses.
Parents of last year's 4th graders should take a look to see if your young
artist had their art included in the booklet. Mrs. McQuillan's 4th graders
last year supplied their work for consideration.
Help support your school and get a great set of recipes to add to your
