------------------------------------------
The May Play Society Presents...
Moon Over Buffalo - One Night Only - FREE !!!
######################################
Don't miss the May Play Society's one night only performance of "Moon Over
Buffalo." The show is at 7:30pm on Friday, May 31st in the UHS Auditorium,
and it's free to get in! It's a hilarious show that you won't want to miss!

Charlotte and George Hay, an acting couple, are on tour in Buffalo in 1953
with a repertory consisting of Cyrano de Bergerac "revised, one nostril
version" and Noel Coward's Private Lives. Fate has given these thespians
one more shot at starring roles in The Scarlet Pimpernel epic and director
Frank Capra himself is en route to Buffalo to catch their matinee
performance. Will Charlotte appear or run off with their agent? Will
George be sober enough to emote? Will Capra see Cyrano, Private Lives or a
disturbing mixture of the two? Hilarious misunderstandings pile on madcap
misadventures in this valentine to theatre hams everywhere.

Dear Unionville Elementary School Families:

Recently, one of our own families suffered a loss in the form of a house
fire. Fortunately no one was injured during the event but due to the heavy
amount of smoke that was in the house they find themselves having to
replace a substantial amount of clothing due to smoke damage.

As you start going through your closets to bring out your spring and
summer clothing, if you find yourself with gently used items that can be
donated to assist this family, it would be greatly appreciated.

A donation box will be placed in the lobby so items can be collected and
then passed on.

Requested sizing information is listed below.

Thank you for your caring and for reaching out to help one of our own that
is in need.

"UHS After Prom Returns to UHS Location! The Community Walk-Thru is May
18th from 630-830pm. Please come out and show your support!

The After Prom Committee at Unionville High School is proud to announce
the return of After Prom to the newly renovated High School. Like many
years before, parents and volunteers have been hard at work transforming
the high school into a themed-oriented event. It is their goal to keep the
students and community safe after prom. After Prom offers students a
memorable opportunity to join friends in a safe & fun environment while
providing activities, food and surprises. The event takes place "After
Prom" on May 18th from 11pm to 5am.

Once again, to entice students to attend, Scott Honda of West Chester, PA,
is generously donating a used car to one lucky student that registers and
attends the After Prom event… and what student would pass up the chance to
win a free car?

To follow the excitement, check them out on Twitter at UHSAP2013 and
Facebook at UHS After Prom 2013.

Remember, the Community Walk-Thru is May 18th from 630-830pm. Please come
see the high school transformed for this signature event! Donations will
be collected and are greatly appreciated!!

If you are a Unionville HS parent and want to help. Its not too late. We
still need volunteers for set up, to work the night of and take down.

Summer is just around the corner, and with it comes that familiar question
. . . what do we do to keep the kids occupied and entertained?! Start the
Summer off right with mini-camp at Brandywine Yoga. We're offering two
mini-camps this summer:

Just for Girls Yoga

Girls will be encouraged to move with a greater sense of awareness and
heightened focus through age appropriate poses. Students will work on a
craft which will be completed by the end of the week, and will get a light
healthy snack each day. Yoga empowers pre-teens with self-confidence and
self esteem, aids in focus and concentration and helps manage stress,
anxiety and depression. A consistent yoga practice will enhance physical
performance needed in sports, dance and other activities. Cost: $155 in
advance and $160 on the first day of camp if space allows.
Pre-registration is recommended as space is limited.

Kids Yoga

Students will explore yoga throughout the week through age appropriate
poses, cooperative games, songs and discussion. A yoga practice will
encourage focus, confidence, self-awareness and expression. Breathing and
visualization exercises will be incorporated to aid in relaxation.

week and will get a light snack each day. Cost: $155 in advance and $160

Each year, Mrs. McQuillin creates an art show of the UE students' artwork
to
be viewed during Spring Open House. This year will be no exception! Sheets
are hung from the dropped ceilings in two of the 1st floor hallways and
then
the children's artwork is pinned to the sheets, organized by grade and
class.

Please see the Sign Up Genius below to sign up to lend a hand. If you have
any questions, please contact Amy Kramer at amykramer13@comcast.net.
