off the Book Fair. We are doing a breakfast this year to appreciate our
teachers and staff in lieu of the usual luncheon. The PTO funds that are
typically spent on the end of year teacher's appreciation luncheon and gift
were used for assisting in the upgrading costs of the UE teacher's lounge
this year. If anyone would like to donate a food item or beverage for the
breakfast, please contact Susannah Small at Susannah.small@comcast.net or 610

Art in Action: (Starts this week!)

You have a fantastic opportunity to be a Teacher at Unionville Elementary,
for your child's Art Class Time. You do not need any prior experience.
Much of it is absolutely bringing your enthusiasm and excitement about ART.

A slide show is shown during the class time followed by a discussion. This
year's topic is 'LINES'. The students will take away an understanding of
how to apply what they have learned to the larger context of ART and apply
to the world around them. Discussion will be encouraged in order to help
students understand the great effect that ART give to each of us! This
year we will also combine the "HANDS ON" portion within the same class. The
Hands On will be a small Art Square that the students will make to be
combined as one in its final piece. A masterpiece of the students' squares
will grace the halls of UE!
