Patton Middle School PTO Positions open for  the 2015-2016 school year! 

Getting involved in the PTO is a great way to meet others and also to see what's going on at Patton Middle School! We are looking for a Vice President (no experience necessary - we will help you learn the ropes!). 
CFPMS PTO is also looking for volunteers to chair committees for the 2015-16 school year! 
Some of the open positions include:  After School Language, Bike Drive, Community Service, Coupon Books, Directory, Curriculum Council, Staff Appreciation Lunch & Brunch, and Raffle Baskets. Did you know that for every pound of paper collected in the Paper Retriever dumpsters at the Unionville Post Office, Unionville Elementary receives money!  We entered in a contest to win an extra $500 if we collect the most paper during the month of April in the region.  Please bring all your recyclable paper to the post office dumpsters this month including:

  • office and school paper
  • newspaper
  • construction paper
  • magazines and catalogs
  • shredded paper (contained in plastic bags)
  • discarded mail
  • notebooks
  • writing tablets

UNIONVILLE ELEMENTARY is hosting the 7th Annual UCFEF Community Yard Sale Fundraiser

will be on Saturday, June 6, 2015.  Bring your family and friends to Frawley Stadium in Wilmington for an action packed game and enjoy the fun, family atmosphere of Blue Rocks baseball.  Show your UE PRIDE and support the Unionville and Pocopson chorus when they perform on the field before the game. Look for ticket order forms in mid April.  


Join us and Support Relay for Life at Floga Bistro on Wednesday, April 29th or Thursday, April 30th.   Floga will donate 10% of sales to Relay For Life.  Take out, delivery and eat in will count.  Please mention the fundraiser or Relay for Life when ordering.  Questions? Contact

The Unionville High School softball team has an annual car wash fundraiser to reduce the additional expenses paid for by the Booster Club.   The car wash will be held on Saturday, 4/25, 10am-2pm in front of the high school.

Spark Field Hockey is a great, new, developmental, skills based field hockey program for girls ages K-8th grades.  We are announcing our Spring & Summer programs in Chester & Delaware Counties Spring programs @ EA & West Chester East begin 5/3 and run through 6/7 (5 weeks total)

Parents, Teachers & Staff - mark your calendars for Saturday, May 16th and REGISTER today for the 2015 Kennett Run.  The Kennett Run is giving back to the Unionville Chadds Ford Schools through the FUNDRUN!   Parents, register your student runners though the FUNDRUN button on the website; then designate their school under the TEAM drop down.  $5 from each registered student, teacher, or staff member will be donated back to your school.  Additionally the UCFSD school with the most registered runners (students, teachers or staff) will win an additional monetary prize.  All money will be donated to your school's PTO!   Register today @ for the FundRun – any of the races count toward your school's donation (5K, 10K, or 1 mile fun run/walk).  Any questions, contact Christien Bass ( – UCFSD FundRun coordinator for the Kennett Run. Not only will each school receive $5 for EACH registered STUDENT, TEACHER or STAFF runner, but the school with the MOST runners registered will win an additional $250!  This is due to a generous contribution made by Family Practice Associates.  One school from each district will be awarded $250!
