All parents and caregivers of UE students are invited for a special treat. 

The teachers will be hosting coffee and a continental breakfast as a thank you for being part of our UE community.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Mr. Beaver will review this school year.

The current and exiting members of the PTO Executive Board will be acknowledged and the new members will be voted into office.

We will vote on the revised UEPTO bylaws (CLICK HERE), and the 2015 PTO funded gymnasium enhancement project.

DONATE GENTLY USED OR NEW BOOKS!
Spring is a time for growth and re-birth, please consider cleaning out your child's bookshelves and give those books a second chance to enrich another life.  Help Tree House Books grow a life with books for North Philadelphia kids in grades K - 8 by recycling your gently used and new books.  Tree House Books is a non-profit organization on a mission of growing and sustaining a community of readers, writers, and thinkers in North Central Philadelphia.  Book collection bins will be located at UE in the main lobby and the side parent pick-up lobby from May 5th - May 29th.  Please consider passing along the books you've enjoyed so others can treasure them too and make room for new books!  Please CLICK HERE

NO EXPERIENCE OR PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF THE ACTIVITY IS NECESSARY, the PTO and last year's chairperson will supply you with all the information and guidance you need. Sign up with a few of your friends and we guarantee you will be glad you did!


DID YOU KNOW ?

On Monday, May 4Th, kindergarten through second grade were treated with a visit from Cliff Wright-Sunflower, from Bear Honey Farms. Mr. Cliff taught students to do the "Dance of the Honeybees".  Each student and staff member at the assembly took part in demonstrating how a real beehive functions. Ask your child what part they played! Students then met in small groups to rotate through stations learning more about a bees life.

Unionville Elementary School is participating in a Soles4Souls shoe drive!

WHO IS SOLES4SOULS?

Soles4Souls is a nonprofit organization that distributes shoes to people in need all over the world. Visit www.soles4souls.org for more information.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Go through your closets and bring/send any unwanted shoes to Unionville Elementary School. We will kick off our event at Open House, May 14th and end the event at Relay for Life on June 4th.  Collection boxes will be placed in the lobby and hallways throughout the school.  Thank you!

Patton Middle School PTO Positions open for 2015-16 school year! 
Getting involved in the PTO is a great way to meet others and also to see what's going on at Patton Middle School!
We are looking for a Vice President (no experience necessary - we will help you learn the ropes!). 
CFPMS PTO is also looking for volunteers to chair committees for the 2015-16 school year! 
Some of the open positions include:  After School Language, Bike Drive, Community Service, Coupon Books, Directory, Curriculum Council, Staff Appreciation Lunch & Brunch. KENNETT FUND RUN

Parents, Teachers & Staff - mark your calendars for Saturday, May 16th and REGISTER today for the 2015 Kennett Run.  The Kennett Run is giving back to the Unionville Chadds Ford Schools through the FUNDRUN!   Parents, register your student runners though the FUNDRUN button on the website; then designate their school under the TEAM drop down.  $5 from each registered student, teacher, or staff member will be donated back to your school.  Additionally the UCFSD school with the most registered runners (students, teachers or staff) will win an additional monetary prize.  All money will be donated to your school's PTO!   Register today @ www.kennettrun.net for the FundRun – any of the races count toward your school's donation (5K, 10K, or 1 mile fun run/walk).  Any questions, contact Christien Bass (bass.christien@verizon.net) – UCFSD FundRun coordinator for the Kennett Run. Not only will each school receive $5 for EACH registered STUDENT, TEACHER or STAFF runner, but the school with the MOST runners registered will win an additional $250!  This is due to a generous contribution made by Family Practice Associates.  One school from each district will be awarded $250!
