PTO Direct Donation Update

Phase I of the Direct Donation Drive is complete. As of right now, we have had 26% of families make a donation. Our goal is 100%.

Please remember, by donating this way, the entire amount goes to the school. The PTO will use these funds to pay for assemblies, staff appreciation, family fun nights, special grade-level activities, teacher enrichment requests, as well as many other programs that make UE such a special place. As the drive continues, we will be reevaluating fundraisers we need to run this year based on Donation Drive particiption levels.

Please get your donations in by September 30th. The requested amount is $50 per child attending UE, but no amount is too much, or too little. We are looking forward to an exciting year!

Bagged Lunch Program Chair Still Needed
The Bagged Lunch Program is a community service project we are hoping to bring back to UE in the spring--and it's in need of a chairperson in order to make it happen. The Bagged Lunch Program is a school-wide project through which each grade level takes part in collecting, decorating and preparing lunches to be delivered to a local homeless shelter. We have volunteers signed up to help, and need a chairperson, or co-chairperson, to help organize the event. Contact the UEPTO if interested.

Library Volunteers Needed
The library still needs volunteers. Responsibilities include shelving books, helping students locate books and special library projects. Come every week or every other week for one to two hours. E-mail if interested.
