FROM THE PTO DESK...

A Message From the PTO President

If your house is anything like mine, the excitement level this month is high, and the house is filled with loud renditions of holiday concert songs. Everyone is so busy this month, so we try to make this a quiet month for the PTO. There is no meeting during December, but here are the few things happening:

  • Elves Workshop is this Thursday, December 8th. In order to attend, you must have paid for and ordered your crafts in advance.
  • Sportswear is supposed to be in December 9th, so you should have it in time for Winter Break.
  • K-3 Holiday Concerts are Wednesday, December 14th, at 9:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.

  • 4th & 5th Grade Holiday Concert is Tuesday, December 20th at 1:15 p.m.

We wish you and your family a very happy holiday season!

School Store Prizes and Gift Cards

School Store prizes were delivered to your child's classroom this afternoon. Every 30 days, the company sends prizes earned and gift cards purchased. If you feel your child did not get the correct items, please contact customer-service@schoolstore.com with any questions.

The Caring For Classrooms Gift Cards will be distributed tomorrow and sent home with your child in an envelope. We are not giving them directly to the teachers in case you wanted to use them for a holiday gift, or give them to a teacher who is not their homeroom teacher.

Thank you for participating, and please continue to use www.schoolstore.com when shopping with your favorite retailers.

Thank You!

We would like to take a minute to thank those who helped with our November events and will be running our December events:

Veterans Day: Karen Miller, committee, and all those who donated food, helped set-up and clean-up for the breakfast and luncheon; Elves Workshop: Shannon Bellafiore, Tara Mangano and Lauren Shelley and committee; Comedy Night: Michelle Reichert, Dana Mayer, Amy Kidd-Suplick and Northbrook Marketplace.

There are lots of moving parts in this operation, and we could not do it without our volunteers. And, if we missed anyone, please know we are thankful for all that you do.
